BEAUTY OF MACROPHOTOGRAPHY | RICE EAR BUG
Hello Beauty of Creativity, how are you today ?. I hope everything is going well.
Today i'm gonna make my routine post about Photography. But before that, i want to say thank you to all Moderators and Members in Beauty of Creativity for supporting me and i will try to make a better post as i can.
On this occasion I would like to show you some photos of the Rice Ear Bug. This insect is a major pest for rice plants, they can damage rice crops especially during the harvest season and this is very detrimental to farmers. They usually live in areas that are certainly close to rice fields and gardens. Usually the farmers will eradicate them using Pesticides. These insects will damage the rice seeds by sucking the liquid from the rice grains that will grow, so that the grains become empty and will wither until they rot. It will happen in a short time and these insects do not take long to damage an area of rice fields.
This bug has a dark brown color and is characterized by very long antennae. They also have long legs, especially their hind legs which allow them to walk and climb with ease. The way to distinguish them from other beetles that are similar to them is by the bright line that runs from the bottom of their mouth to the bottom of their chest, and all types of these insects have this line.
These bugs also have thin wings on their backs, but when they fold them, the wings are invisible and only visible as patterns on the back of their bodies.
To get their photo, I have to be a little patient and have to be careful. They are very sensitive animals therefore, the slightest movement will scare them and run elsewhere. But with patience and care, I managed to get some pictures of them, if you want to see them, please check the pictures below.

By the way, that name will be given because this Bug is the most Dangerous pest for Rice Plant. And they always targeting ripe rice grains as their food.
