It is a very popular crop in our country. It is usually grown in winter. Mustard oil is made from mustard. It can also be eaten as a vegetable when it is small before flowering. Mustard flowers attract bees in swarms. Collecting honey. Just seeing mustard flower fills the heart. Village people enjoy it with great joy in winter.
The beautiful sight of dew wet mustard field in winter morning is enjoyed only by the people of rural Bengal. The environment that is created to eat mustard on a winter morning cannot be found anywhere else. It is not common to see so many flowers together as mustard flowers. Field after field is covered with mustard flowers. Who does not like to wake up in the foggy morning and see this scene like a yellow carpet in the yard.
On winter days, the roads are covered with fog, the farmers run towards the empty fields with sickle in hand. The sweet aroma of date jaggery pita pies and the mind-blowing sight of mustard flowers make winter unique. Mustard flowers filled the field spreading yellow color. Farmers have forgotten the song of happiness. Their houses will be filled with crops as they like. There will be no sorrow and the burden of debt will be reduced. Seeing the mesmerizing sight of mustard flowers fills everyone's soul. The open air of the fields on the horizon spread the sweet scent. But after a few days there will be no more mustard flowers in this mustard field! Then the bees will fly away.
