Young Red Planthopper (Bothrogonia sp.)
This insect has a strange appearance with an alien-like face shape, it's bright pink. At first, I thought it was a baby grasshopper--though I've never seen a pink grasshopper species. But after I noticed, there were quite a lot of red planthoppers (Bothrogonia sp.) around, and it was very likely that it was a young red planthopper.
It can't be flying yet because its wings are still short, all it can do is jump between the leaves or twigs. It is the same as adult planthoppers, the young planthopper also eats leaves. Several times I saw it oozing white liquid from its tail, I thought he was peeing.
