White Crab Spider on Wild Plant

in Beauty of Creativityyesterday

I had no idea whether it's able to bite or harmless. All I need to do was to take pictures while it was there. Crab spiders, (Thomisidae), the family of spiders (order Araneida) that are crablike in shape. Unlike many crabs, that often walk sideways or backward, this typical spider even walks toward me, disturbing my focus. I did not give up on it, I tried to take a good chance to capture it while it was there. Crab spiders don’t spin webs to trap insects but they ambush their prey, often laying in wait on foliage for unsuspecting bees, moths, and other insects that come to feed on flowers. It resided in the shady spot and was active when noticing the strangers. It moved here and there seeking a safe spot. This typical spider is found throughout Asian tropical rain forests, in foliage in wooded environments. Seeing that, I managed to get a few pictures soon I noticed it was calm. It's great to see its appearance from the closest range, even I was not able to see their eyes as they were covered in its shell.
