Giant Honey Bee (apis dorsata)

I am still fond of exploring the species of insect. This time I am delighted to come up with a giant honey bee (apis dorsata). It is a species of honey bee that live throughout Southeast Asia. It is usually seen around the bush, grassland, leftovers, and carrion looking for the flies that are also attracted to them. It is also recognized as the sting hornet that becomes aggressive and attacks when they are under the threat. I assume I was lucky to see it calm on that day since it is often spotted as a busy insect and was difficult to take pictures from close range. So, when I saw it making a bit move on the leave, I thought that was my chance to get its photos. I did not even think that it would be aggressive and stung me right before I took the picture, but thank for its calmness. As you all know, taking a bee's photo was not easy as we thought, sharp eyes are needed to see where it possibly stops. Since they were steady, I could use my DSLR to shoot them from the distance range.

Bee photography seems like a pretty brave task because in our country, we try to run away in fear when we see bees because their stings are quite painful.
