Steemit Nursery : Betterlife || the diary game 29/5/2021 by @yuni.boy [Various pictures of fish market activities in my city]
Hello All, How are you today?
This is my second post after I shared my self-introduction post three days ago.
I will convert SBD from this post to steem to make my SP, so that my account can share posts every day.
This morning I took the time to go to the fish market in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh. Various transaction activities occur here with a very fast economic cycle, making the Lhokseumawe fish market one of the largest fish markets in Aceh.
Activities in this market are active from 5 am to 9 am. It is really a very short time for large transactions to turn over into the millions of dollars.

Lhokseumawe city fish market is a large shopping center which is located in Pusong village, Banda Sakti sub-district. So it is not surprising that many small traders (retail) come from various regions ranging from the district of North Aceh to the district of Bireuen and sometimes the East Aceh district traders are no exception to stop by this market as well.

This fish market accommodates fish from three different ports namely Ujong Blang, Krueng Mane and Pusong port itself.
Wholesalers' risk of loss
The sales system is carried out for small traders (retail), namely units of kilos not on a wholesale basis.

They can buy by choosing good fish to put in the basket they carry before the fish is weighed. You can pay attention to the image below.

Meanwhile, wholesalers who buy fish directly from boat owners must buy fish in bulk, not in kilos. This is a gamble for wholesalers with a very high risk of loss.
So it is not surprising that many of the wholesalers run out of capital, causing them to go into debt.

Abdul Wahed 34 years, one of the wholesalers in the fish market in Lhokseumawe city who lost money this morning after buying one one barrel fish (size 220 liters),
Because the fish he bought in bulk did not reach his target estimate due to the emergence of large ice bars so that the estimated one one barrel, which was 190 kilo grams, was only 150 kilo grams.

Thus, Abdul Wahed's fish capital is more expensive than the capital of other wholesalers, so that Abdul Wahed has to sell his fish under capital.

Wholesalers are competing to spend their merchandise because if the remaining goods are not sold out, they have to spend more capital for labor costs and additional ice for storage so that the remaining fish can be sold again the next morning.

Maybe this was just information about the condition of the Lhokseumawe city fish market that I can convey, hopefully it can be useful for all community friends.
