How to upload or change a public profile picture in steemit

Hello family, i send you greetings from Nsuta , Ghana.
I hope everyone is doing well and trying as much as possible to be safe in this covid period.

There is something very simple and interesting i will like to share and help out with my new friends who have or are trying to join this wonderful platform.

I know most people will find it very simple, but honestly i came across a few people yesterday who were sort of finding it difficult to upload a profile picture.

So this afternoon i will be putting out the very simple steps that will us to upload profile pictures using a personal computer.

Step1.
Navigate through your dashboard and locate " settings

Single click on settings when the cursor changes to the hand

Step 2:
Here you may have a copied url of your preferred picture or you can upload any from your computer.
So uploading from your computer, look for "upload an image" in green colours , this can be found under the picture url horizontal box, now click on it as it changes to the hand cursor.

Step : 3
Now after you have clicked the "upload an image", you will be taken to your windows explorer diaglog box to get your picture or image location
Browse through and select your preferred image.
Now look below the dialog box and click on "open"

Step 4:
After you click on open you will be taken back to the public profile settings page .
On that page wait patiently and look inbetween the title public profile settings and public picture url to see a count up of your upload from 1 to 100%

Step 5:
After the upload has finished, gently move down to the button of the last horizontal box of the public profile settings page.
At the bottom you will see a button that says " update"
Click on the update button and wait as it processes with a circling feature .
