My Introduction

Hi! My name is Antonia Pauleen R. Lagahit. I am 12 years old and presently a Grade VI pupil under the FL (Fast Learner) category. I have been in this category since my kinder years. Thanks to my elders! My mom is a Registered Nurse. We seldom see each other because of her profession but we always keep in touch with each other via the Messenger family group chat. In fact, I haven't seen her since the lockdown because she was in Cebu during that time. I am very lucky to have two loving grandmas. They are there for me when my parents are not around.

Academic Achievement

I am a consistent honor student among the top 10 pupils. Your general average must not be lower than 90%. Thanks to my grandma who had been guiding me in my studies. I've already collected gold medals since I was in the nursery level up to the present. I won twice in our Math competition against the higher level pupils too.

My Extra Curricular Activities

I like to play soccer, volleyball and badminton. I joined in the soccer showdown with my cousins.

The Accident
I was in my second week ballet summer class when I met an accident. I was at my other Grandma's House during that time when my brother and cousin climbed the bar. My father told us to go down at that moment but it was too later. Right then and there, I fell down. It was a bad fall. My right arm looked like the arms of a crab! Father right away pulled it. I guess to straighten it out and made a tornequette and rushed me to the hospital.
I was referred in Bacolod Sanitarium Hospital for the operation and was confined for two weeks! A 3-inch flat titanium was implanted as brace in my right upper limb. My mom (she's a nurse)worked as a Medical Representative during that time and the huge expenses was covered by their company's accident insurance. It was a lesson learned for me. Since then, my grandma prohibited me to join in soccer competitions.

It took months for me to recover in my reflexes but I did not stopped schooling I tried my best to move my right fingers and hand. I used my left hand to write. It was a sacrifice but I've managed until the nerves in my right arm became normal.

Never Surrender

Since I was already prohibited to play outside, I joined in the writing contest in Journalism and got the 'Best in Script' Award. My first cousin was also their school's representative in Sports Writing Competition and won!

My Love of Art

I love drawing too. I did my own research and studied how to make digital drawings by using an app in play store.

Encouraging

I have been watching my grandma for quite a while and asked her what she's doing. She told me that she's a writer and a blogger. As far as I can remember, she had been doing this since I was small. I asked her if I can make money too. She said yes, if you're interested, you will learn in time!

Inclinations

Now that I am older, I began to understand what's in this platform. I don't know the technicalities yet but I am willing to learn at early age.
