Contest: My first steps in STEEMIT | "Still Bowed and Trying to Stand Up" By @reza-khem

Hello, I'm Reza, I just joined steemit about two months ago. I have just reached the age of 18, I live in Meunasah Sagoe, Seunuddon sub-district, North Aceh district, Aceh province, which is an area located in the greater Indonesian archipelago.

Steemit has been around since 2016 and I've heard steemit rumors in 2017 when steem is viral because the price is soaring, but at that time I was 14 years old and didn't have a smartphone. After that I no longer remember this platform and then in April 2021 I again listened to the words of steemit spoken from the mouth of @daiky69, and I immediately remembered it again and asked for help from @daiky69 to help me register a steemit account and teach me.

Before I joined steemit, I thought that steemit was a personal blog site to place ads and make money, because indeed I never found out about steemit, but after daiky69 explained to me about steemit, I just found out that steemit is a different platform from all platforms. After that I often read articles related to crypto and also steemit to add to my insight, and then I realized that steemit is a future platform that will shift the popularity of other social media.

I have completed achievements 1 to 5.3, and there is no problem at all for me to learn all achievement tasks and complete them. But what saddens me, the most is that my post achievement did not get a vote as promised even though it was already labeled, there are at least 4 post achievement that didn't get a vote, if I'm not mistaken. I'm trying to be positive, maybe the team didn't have time to vote for my post because there were a lot of queues, but honestly I need a vote for the achievement post to power up so that my account can reach 500 SP.

In steemit I often read posts from people in the steemit nursery community, I like posts that educate steemit users and also posts about photography or natural beauty in the hemisphere that I will not be able to visit. Honestly I don't know what my skills are, so it's difficult to explain what posts I will make on steemit but for sure I will share posts about nature and photography.

I have learned many things that I never knew before joining steemit, such as how to make posts with multiple styles. In the past I didn't like reading and didn't communicate much on social media but after I joined steemit I prefer to read and interact with other users. Also now i'm know about a lot of crypto currency and can make money with that

There are many things that I haven't learned in steemit, such as how the payment system is on steemit, what content gets support, and how the 500 sp minnow support system works. First, what I know is that steemit only gives 50% of the results of our posts for the author, for example I get a vote of $3 it should be 0.55 sbd and 0.55 steem for me and the rest for the curator but the results are very different. Second, I've published some content like everyone else's but haven't gotten any votes at all. Third, I have joined the 500sp minnow support program but have not received a vote even though I have followed all the guidelines recommended by the community leader. This all worries me because I really want to grow on this platform and have at least 2000 sp for my 6 months on steemit, but I think I have failed to meet that target.

I don't think it's fair to mention only two good people I have met, because there are so many good people here that I have met and helped me, namely @ghostfacer99 who is very friendly, and @rishabh99946 who is very kind. But if I had to choose two people then I would choose @daiky69 because he has really helped me and taught me steemit, sometimes he also advises me to keep posts even though I don't get support, because he said "consistent people will succeed", but honestly this is hard for me. One more person I will say @ghostfacer99, he is really friendly and very responsive with all our complaints.

I think this time it should be @papi.mati, because in just 3 months in steemit he has gotten great support and has a lot of sp and the content he makes is also very good.

I'm not sure how this will work out, but I have to stay optimistic and keep learning to improve myself. My main goal in steemit is to be useful for the steem platform and contribute to the progress of steem. As I explained above, I want to have 2000 sp for my 6 months in steemit, but I don't think my wish will come true and just a wishful thinking.
