Usually, around the point in our timeline when the hand of the first teen digit shakes our age, we begin to fantasize about the many core decisions that lies ahead of us. Who will I marry? What will be my career? Will I be rich? Will I succeed?, etc. Life begins to unravel itself behind our present thoughts and we keep it there in the background because the joy of the time deflates the power of the fear. However, as time pushes us a little further to the end line of the teen age. The joy seems to fluctuate, responsibility calls for our attention. And there seems to be no more room to procrastinate the decision making time. At that point as the saying goes "You either make a decision or make the decision of making none". Of all the choices life will present to us to make a decision from. This is the list of the most important ones and some guidelines I believe will be of of help to us.

#1 Where will I spend eternity?

Living in eternity is one concept the mind can almost not fathom. It has been captured in our fictional and fantasy movies but I strongly doubt the average man has factored it into his daily living. Many do not believe the mysteries and the stories that surround eternity. But if we are consider the stories and words which has been of a relic fame. We can only be classified as pretenders if we behave as though the possibility of its existence is a fable. Through out time, eternity, heaven and hell has been the most widespread information. And every man except the one who wouldn't want to accept, has an inner witness that probes him in the silence of his toughts to consider it as important.

A renowned Apostle of the end time church, Apostle Michael Orokpo, made a striking statement. He said eternity is the ever of ever. So if ever could end, Its like the moment one ever ends another ever begins. If we compare eternity to the life span of Methuselah, the oldest man on earth, Methuselah's life span becomes less than the smallest unit of time there can ever be. Considering the value eternity will be in the life of every man , I think it is quite an act of gross irresponsibility to live it to chance because one simply doesn't believe. If it is exist, which I am convicted it does, then the greatest regret of man will be the day he finds himself in the realm of eternity without preparation. Again considering the value of eternity, I think before every man departs from this realm, he should prepare himself to be received into the safer side of it even if he doesn't believe. For example, no man knows absolutely if he would be alive in the future, but because of the sorrow that hangs around the neck of a man who doesn't prepare for it. Every man makes preparations for it only with assurance of hope. Since through out time, it has remained relic that the after life has only two locations to offer which is hell and heaven. Let's make it a point to seek for information to solidify our hopes in it and obtain the drive from that hope to choose the best of it which is heaven.

After reading about several presentations on the topic of eternity, the path of Christianity became my choice and in my next post I will state why?
