EPL Results from the Big Six in The English Premier league
This weekend marks round 5 from the Epl with some of the big teams struggling to keep up us others are constantly dominating the league. On Saturday the 18th of September Arsenal won their first away match of the season in the EPL with a crucial free kick from Martin Ordegard. The final score was 0-1. This is a result Arsenal should be proud of having a bad start of the season from losing all 4 games in arrow. Arsenal has now won two games and currently at 13th position with 6 points. Arsenal next EPL game is against Tottenham Hotspurs.
Liverpool “the reds” with their impressive start of the season continue their amazing run with four wins and one draw. Last year was very disappointing for them but looking at how things are going this season they’re contenders of the EPL no doubt. Liverpool sat at anfield and won 3-0 against Crystal Palace with Mane and Sallah on the score sheet. Liverpool are currently second on the table with 13 points.
Manchester City the title defenders of the EPL title are not having their best start of the season so far as they have already lost one game and this weekend drew against Southampton in a goalless draw. Manchester City look favorite to win as they have lots of qualities it’s just the matter of time for them to prove themselves. Manchester City are currently 5th on the table with 10 points from their last 5 games.
Manchester United “the Red Devils” have the quality but struggling to keep up with Chelsea and Liverpool. From Their past games they have always struggled to keep their lead. They have lots of qualities and with time we hope they’ll do better. Manchester United have fail to keep clean sheet in any of the five matches played which indicates they still have to work on their defense in order to keep up with the others. They are currently third with 13 points after coming back from behind to win the game against Westham United with score line 1-2.
Chelsea the pride of London are showing us why they are the current European champions with a perfect start of the competition. They conceded only one against Liverpool. Chelsea visited Tottenham and won 0-3. They are currently the favorite to take the EPL. The Chelsea team is well balanced from defense to attack. With this constant performance Chelsea will go far this season. They sit on top of the table with 13 points. Chelsea’s next game is against Manchester City a game that will tell us about who will most likely to take the EPL.
Tottenham started the season very well after beating Manchester city on their opening game of the season. Recently Tottenham have conceded 6 goals in their last 2 games including their game with Chelsea. Tottenham still has lots of defending issues and have to work on them is they really want to go far this season. As it stands now they on the 7th position with 9 points having lost 2 games in arrow.
