Diary Game: My Life as a Teacher Today| May 11,2021|@jes88

Good day steemians. How y'all doing? Let me share to you today my life as a teacher dealing new normal education in the Philippines due to COVID 19 pandemic.

In our country, there are four medium of learning;
1. Online Distance learning
2. Modular Distance learning
3. Radio and Television learning
4. Blended Learning

In our school, we use the modular learning wherein we print the lessons and distribute it every Tuesday or Friday. As a teacher, I need to be flexible in whatever ways I can deliver the lesson as long as education will never stop.

Today is tuesday, it's retrieval and distribution of modules. So here how it goes.

Step 1 The parents will form a line outside the class room.

Step 2 Every chair own by the student. Their modules is on the table of the armchair. Two parent can come inside and pick their child's modules.

Step 3 They will sign a paper as an attendance for their presence.

Step 4They can go home after signing the attendance.

Out of 34 pupils, only 1 did not claim the modules. In situation like this, I usually go home visit and follow up the learning of the pupil/s provided that I'll follow safety protocols.

I can see the hardwork of the parents and their patience to endure the education of their child amidst this pandemic. Everyone is affected and we both need understanding in adjusting the new normal education.

At the end of the day, I go home with things done. So now, I have my time writing my diary today. Thank you steemit community for this opportunity. I am hoping you enjoy reading.
