#The Diary Game# The Great Harvest

Good day my fellow steemians, today am writing on how my day went.
I woke up this morning and had my morning prayers around 6:00am

It was indeed a nice time with God after which my mom decided we should go and harvest cassava since we were getting short of garri.
so we all journeyed to the farm, on getting to the road, there were no bikes since it was too early.
we had to spent up to 5mins before we could see bike to call.

finally we saw a bike that will take us to the farm, he charged us a sum of 200 naira from our house to our farm.
on getting to the farm it was Bushy since it was long we cultivated and weeded it

We started Harvesting, the ground was really hard but we tried our best to harvest the cassava from the ground. it was quite hard but we tried our Best.

In the process of Harvesting, we had to rest and take water after we continued the harvest, it was a big one indeed.

we became tired and decided to pack the cassava and go.

we packed all the cassava we harvested and put them inside a 50kg bag and carried it home.

It was indeed a great harvest
when we came back home we had to pill the cassava, it was quite many but we did our best and pilled it.

we pilled the cassava and washed it thoroughly it was so dirty so we had to wash it twice, after that we carried it to the grinding machine and it was being grounded and dried.

we carried it home after drying it and had to filter it

The filtering took some time it was getting late in the evening but we had to hurry so that we could fry it.
so we started the frying and it was quite interesting.

my mom was also involved in the frying since it was too much for only me, she assisted me in the frying.

she really tried beyond what I expected and the frying gradually was a success.
we finished frying and we packed it inside a bag of which two bags were filled up.

It was really a great day for me and we had to round up this great work by eating the fruit of my labour.
we had to prepare a wonderful soup called "Afang" soup in our dialect and used the newly treshed garri to eat it.

it was really a great harvest indeed and also a stressful day for me.
