My favourite recepie /making kabuli pulao for family

Hope you all are good and well by the grace of allah.I am also fine and enjoying best health.I love cooking.i alwasy love to make decilus recepies. I love to cook traditional food of pakistan, so i will share most tradtional food which is PULAO
today i am sharing recipe of kabuli pulao(as the chickpea is called (kabuli channy in our area,so this pulao is also named as kabuli pulao) recipe.
I our area ,pulao is the most beloved food and it is favorite of all olders or youngers.
So start the recipe.

This is my mother's own recipe , I hope you will like it.so lets start.
Ingredients
Ingredients | quantity |

1kg | rice |
chickpaes | ¼kg |
Onions | 3 medium sized |
green chilli | 7-8 |
tomato | 3 medium size |
garlic | 4-6 choped pieces |
ginger | 1/2 inch choped |
oil | half cup |
red cilli | by your taste |
salt | by taste |
turmeric | 1 table spoon |

Prepration

- First of all soak rice in water, change water 2 to 3 times and then add water untill rice are covered with water

- Warm the water in cooker,and add chickpaes in warm water.close the cooker and boil chickpae for 30 mins.
- Then after 30 mins open the cooker take the chickpae out of cooker.

- Cut down the onions,green chilli,tomato

Now start cooking

- Take a medium sized pan add oil and onion in it.
- Fry the onion on medium flame un till the become brown.
- Now add green chilli in pan
Add cutted tomato in pan and fry them for two mins.
- Now add red cilli paste or red chilli powder,salt turmeric ,ginger andgarlic.
- Fry all these things well ,you can add 3 table spoon water to fry them well. It looks like a thick gravi.
- Now add boiled chickpae in this gravi.
Fry for two mins on medium flame.
- Add 2 kg water in pan as we have to add water double then rice and rice are 1kg so we add 2kg water.
- Cover the pan and wait for boiling of water.
When it is boiled ,now add soaked rice in the pan.
- Cover the lid of pan make the rice boiled about after 10 mins ,rice will be boiled these boiled rice will absorb all the water.
- Sprinkle the cumin on the rice and cover the lid for steaming the rice. Lower down the flame and steam(dum dena) rice for 15 mins.
Dishout - After 15 mins your afghani pulao is ready to eat.

- Dishout the rice , decorate with sliced onion and enjoy eating. Try this recipe at home with your family and frieds. It is a very easy, yummy and delicious food.As i also love kabuli pulao so i shared its recipe with all of you .
