Steemit Nursery Contest: What makes me happy is Music by @epouma on the 22/06/2022
It is with great joy that I write to the steem family to share with them what really makes me happy as an experience, of course it is nothing else rather than music, music has been my lifestyle it has been part of me ever since I was a kid, I started by playing drums from there I grew to be a good singer but however I do only gospel music. One of the reason I choose gospel music is because through songs I express my love towards God, this girl has been so faithful to me, he has been providing for me, he has been taking good care of me, God has been protecting me from many accidents which indeed I can only express my gratitude to him through songs. Music as they say is life and it is a practice which is good and very much influential in the society.
As I began to sing daily I noticed great improvement in my music ministry, when I am sad I sing, when I am lonely I sing, even when I am happy I do sing. Music by the grace of God has made me to visit so many areas in my country for example Baffoussam, Douala, Yaounde,Buea, Dschang and many others. Most often I am invited for wedding programs, crusades, birthday parties and so on and so forth.
Wanting I have realized about music is that if you make music your friend music or tomatically becomes your friend too, yes this is true because the more you sing the more you improve your singing capacity, singing should be a life time something and not just a part time something where you take it as a lifetime something it becomes more good and interesting in the years. I have been somebody that has always been eager to learn music that is why I took my time and I dedicated myself so much into it and today I am proud to say that I can say. I am not here to teach about music but I am simply here to express myself on how music has always been a source of joy to me, as far as music is concerned I have been privileged to meet with some great gospel artists in my country among them is my music mental who lives in the town of Buea. He is the person that encourage me to always take music serious which I did, he has mentored me for almost 5 years now which has made a very great impact in my music ministry. Few months ago I was privileged to meet him in a program which he had to lay hands on me and prayed for me he impacted me again just like how he has been doing in the past, he is indeed a mentor and a music coach. Just based on the fact that music has taken me to many places in my country it is enough joy in my heart to know that and also based on the fact that I have met with so many different people in my society just because of music so many great men of God,Prophets, pastors , evangelist whom I have also learned so much from them.
