Hello Steemians - I Come To You A Humble Student

Hello Steemians,

Now, who am I? I suppose the better question would perhaps be; "what would you like to know?" I mean, there're a few ways we could go with this. Should I reel off my CV and employment history? Where do I come from? A bit of my background? But that doesn't really tell you who I am, more just glimpses at certain aspects that make me. Who I am, is an ever-defiant, ever-hopeful, and an ever-determined dreamer.

I want to grow old and have a happily ever after. Psst... there's one of my beliefs ;). I also don't want my (as yet unborn) kids to grow up going through the same shit that I did. So I decided very young that I'm going to make the world a better place for my kids before having them. Yes, I'm aiming for global social difference. There's no reason why poverty should exist. Now if it hasn't been already, this probably will be TMI - I'm recurringly having dreams of starting a family within the next 3 - 5 years (facepalm & laughing faces). That means, I need to achieve the financial independence of a level at least where I haven't got to worry about the rent or bills. Anything extra is a bonus. I need to keep my focus on building my goals and dreams into a reality. That brings us to why I'm here.

I decided to go all in and invest in myself and chase my dreams. If I fall, fuck it. (Apologies if i'm not allowed to swear I'm just being real). I'll know I gave it my all and you just watch this space when i get back up again. I've always been inspired by History's greats. I believe in human greatness and that I can achieve it and similar to 50 Cent, "I'ma be [Great] or Die Trying". I believe it's possible in all of us. I believe in human potential and humanity as a race that we can do better. We can be better. So that's the journey I'm on. If you'd like to join me, the more the merrier ;).

I'm like an old school newb who used to spell it "noob" from the 90's. I remember the pain of floppy disks haha. I recognise this and so am diligently doing my reading and homework and taking this very seriously. That's why I recognise the ridiculous potential of this underused world. I can also envision the bigger picture of paper money being completely phased out and eventually ending up on display in museums. I want to learn how to navigate in such a world where Crypto is King. I've got a responsibility to my future kids in order to guide them through it.

Hence, as I said in the title. Esteemed (eh, eh...) Steemians ;), I come to you a humble student. "I hath emptieth my cup" to quote a scene between a monk and his apprentice in a vaguely remembered film. Wait. I think it may have been 2012. Anyway, as I said, I recognise my ignorance and lack of knowledge and would like to correct that as authentically as possible. I'd like to pick brains, ask questions, learn. If any of you would be willing to help me with that, I'd really appreciate it.

If not, then perhaps this wasn't the best idea. But hey ho, if so, then I'll learn out of it before trying again ;p so thank you regardless. I can practically guarantee amusement though... I'll likely ask some dumb questions (facepalm & laughing faces). I'm just being honest. There's so much falseness online and in everyday life that I've made a commitment to be authentic whenever and wherever I may be.
