Mehmet was sitting on a chair at the table placed in front of the open window and was busy writing something. These were the days of October. The dry trees seen outside the window were flying here and there due to not being able to bear the intensity of the wind.
"One thing I have learned in my life is that no matter how powerful evil is, good always overcomes it." Having written so much, Mehmet stopped the pen and took a deep breath, then Saad came from behind and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Saad" Mehmet turned and said, Saad's lips turned into a smile. It had been four months since Mehmet had recovered and Saad was now living with him. Aliya and Nafeesa had now shifted to Seema's mansion, while Kaleem, Mir, Zubia had gone back to their homes, but Haris took up residence here.
"You remember, today we have to go to the Halloween party at Hamad's house." Saad convinced him.
"I remember." Mehmet just smiled. Today, Hammad had organized a Halloween party and invited all his friends. Mehmet didn't want to go, but then thinking of Saad, he filled his support.
It was evening and they were all dressing up to go to the Halloween party. Mehmet donned a white shirt with a black coat and pants, followed by a bit of vampire make-up and a red blood mark from the corners of his lips to his chin, while Saad donned a dark purple gown and long, witch-themed gown. A pointed hat is worn. Satisfied with their preparation, those people sat in the car and headed towards Hamad's house.
Halloween. October 31 is a festival that was started by a priest in Ireland about two thousand years ago. It is the time when the harvest is done and the new year begins. These people believed that this day draws a line between human life and death and that evil forces influence life on this night. At the same time, they believed that celebrating this day would make it easier for them to predict the future. This day has more importance for those people who not only believe in occult knowledge but also practice it. The night starts the winter, that's why a big bonfire is lit on this night. These people believe that this fire will save them from cold death in the future. On this night, animals and grains are sacrificed to ward off Satan. On this night, people dress up like a ghost witch by making a satanic halia and serve food in the same way. People keep pumpkins outside their houses. These pumpkins are hollow inside and are cut in a strange way, which makes them look like a demonic face. They believe that by doing this, the evil spirits are kept away from the house. On this night children go from house to house saying "treat and track" which means either give them something or be ready for some mischief from them. Fornication/alcoholism/divination is common on this night.
