... why I struggled all through school. It's still hard for me to focus since I easily get distracted but I have learnt to create situations in which I can focus quite good. Usually a mixture of Coffee and me studying at home helps tremendously.
I am very honest with the people I am closest to. This means that I state my opinion even if that might hurt. I do this because I believe that honesty is the most important thing in any relationship. This is often quite frustrating for my girlfriend I suppose but I never mean it in a bad way. To be honest means to be constructive. But: I have learnt that sometimes it is best to say nothing. It's a fine line between honesty and being a smart ass.
I am very patient. I have learnt that a lot of things in life take time. About 6 years ago I started with weightlifting. I weighed around 68 kg's and was frustrated with the way I looked. I worked my way up to about 100 kg - this was a couple of months ago. In these 6 years I slowly but surely came to understand that nothing just happens overnight. You have to have a plan and you have to be willing to execute this plan for years to come. All the things I learned from my weightlifting journey I now am constantly applying in other aspects of my life: My Physic studies, relationships and whatever topics or issues might come up.
