Contest: The origin of my name!

Good day everyone, hope you are all doing well, welcomes to my blog @spanky-dollar, speaking about the origins of names, I believe we all have meaningful names organised by @astilem, which I guess is better than silver and gold, names might be given to continue a life change or an ancient discovery of the lost ones.

WHO GAVE YOU THOSE NAMES? WHY THAT NAMES.

Well, my mum gave me the name AMEKA, which was for a reason, all her child deliveries were in the hospital which you believe involves some bills, but mine was at home on a free day without any bill, then she believed God works, she named me AMEKA Which means "I HAVE SEEN" The work of God in my local dialect.

Do you have two names or more, what are they and what do they mean to you

I only have one name which is from seeing God work, sharing how hard labor and delivery are, and doing it in simple ways embed I should be grateful.

DO YOU LIKE THE NAME YOU WERE GIVEN AT BIRTH? WHY?

I love the name so much, it speaks about appreciation and Thanksgiving, not only that, it's a double name, the way some people address it, I assume it's an English name because most people don't believe when I say it's a dialect word.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE YOUR NAME, WOULD YOU? WHAT WOULD BE THE NAME YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AND WHY

Names are precious gifts from our elders, which is what my mum sees when she named me, I might not know the official reason why she did that, so I won't change it, but rather do good for more blessings to come to me.

ARE YOU CALLED BY YOUR NAME OR DO YOU HAVE A NICKNAME? WHO ASSIGNED IT TO YOU.?

Am using both, why because some elders see nicknames as not worthy, meanwhile during their early 06, the We're the Rockies, I assigned my nickname @spanky-dollar, a million naira dream name, filled with dreams and imagination.

IF YOU HAVE SIBLINGS, YOU CAN TELL IF THEIR NAMES ARE RELATED TO YOU

I have a brother whose name is Dominic from my grandfather's file, just to keep it in memory and remained fresh.

IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, TELL US WHERE THEIR NAMES COME FROM AND IF THEY LIKE THEM

My children's names will come from me and their mum, which is my wife, I will name the boy my name, and probably the mums name otherwise, I believe the will love it, because it will be more of like father like son issues.
