STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE S9W3 / THE DIARY OF A WORKER
A beautiful morning to you all present today on the steemit platform. I am @preshy101 and I am here again to participate in the steemit engagement contest which this community has organized for this week engagement contest.
I will be publishing an article in line with the contest in this platform titled The diary of a worker. I wish you a happy reading as I begin.
Except for the weekends, my daily routine has been so busy lately. I am a student and I also have a side hustle to provide certain needs for myself and my siblings. My parent do pay my school fees and get foodstuffs in the house but I do not just fold my arms and watch them because I am a student.
My dad is a Mechanic engineer by profession. He fix cars too and for me to be able to help in out in some areas, I decided to take after him. After school hours, I do return to my dad's workshop to give him a helping hand.

Although my experience on this job is quite shallow compares to his but I still do other jobs that I know so well. Sometimes when he isn't in town, I take over as the boss and father of the house since I am the first child.
It has not been easy going to school in the morning and then return to work after school hours. This is because I do not want to solely depend on white collar jobs as though they're not seen nowadays. So I decided to do other legitimate things just to get money and purchase the needed things I and my family need.
Since I am still a student and yet to graduate, I do not have an official job of my own because I am still under processing but that doesn't stop me from making ends meet. I do not ask for my parents for money and this is because I do engage in things that are beneficial in which I can gain something at the end of the day.
I also learned photography and I can take pictures too. I get money from that aspect whenever I am been called upon to be the photographer of an occasion be it weeding ceremony or birthday celebrations. With the little money I get from my work, I use it to help myself out and get things on my way home for the family consumption.
With this attitude that I have embedded in me, it will be uncalled for if after college I do not get anything doing. That is why I am learning it through the hard way only because nothing good comes easy unless one is birthed with a silver spoon.
I do advise my friends to always engage in things that would be of great benefit in their lives aside school. Some of my school mates only depend on school and are just thinking about life after graduation without getting a skill or something important to help them in getting basic needs.
And that is the major reason why poverty keeps increasing day by day because of the laxity on the part of most youth to engage in something that would be beneficial to them both now and hereafter. For the fact that I am a student is never a yardstick for me to just sit and fold my arms while my parents do the providing.
I make sure to contribute my quota to make life meaningful for all of us. My parents takes care of the provision in the house while I focus on providing little things when they are almost finished in the house through the daily work i do at my dad's workshop.
With the above ways, I have have managed to also help my parents and I have totally taken the responsibilities of getting the needed materials in school for my own use. I do not bother them about that no more. And this is as a result of working tirelessly to get something everyday. Going to school and then return to the workshop has been my normal activities everyday except for the weekends.
After all the activities in the week, I often rest during weekends and study my books to prepare myself ahead of time.
It is very important that we put this at the back of our mind that it is very necessary to get something doing no matter how small it is, for the fact that it is a legal job do it with all your might for you never can tell what the future holds.

Greetings to my friend that you participated in a good way in this engagement of season 9 and week 3. I agree with you that it's not easy to engage yourself in working hours for long part of your day but I want to say that after work work and work you achieve success I use this word because work is that thing which needs your time and in which you have to try try again for achieving a lot of success.
You have told that after the school hours you also go to the workshop of your father as you have told that your father is a mechanical engineer and you also give him a helping hand everyday after your studies and its best thing to learn because when you are hands on with something and when you work practically then you understand more readily all the things.
Good to know from you my friend that you also have the photography skills also very good work because photography also I talent and no one wants this talent unless or until he do practice.

Dear brother, you have presented us a busy day diary game which is really nice. You have learned photography and I can take pictures too which is pretty cool work. Whenever you are called to be an event photographer you get money from that side and the little money you get from your job helps you and you use it to get things on the way home for family expenses which is really admirable job.
