SEC S6W4: "Letter to a loved one"
Introduction
Hello fellow steemias,it's with great pleasure I welcome you to my blog today for season6 week4 of this great engagement challenge.
Today I will be writing a letter to my loved one Nnenna who is my best friend turned a sister and I call her My Desire.
My Dear Nnenna,
It's with a great pleasure I'm writing you this beautiful Thursday afternoon My Desire and I hope you are doing well even at this holiday season after your hectic times with your pupils.
The reason for writing you this letter is to remind you about our agreement concerning our Christmas trip to your village to spend the festive season with your mom. I hope we not backing out of our proposed plans and I want to know how far you've made arrangements for our means of transportation hence you mentioned that one of your neighbours will be plying your village route on the 20th December so we could join him to enable us cut down our cost of spending.
I've bought a beautiful lace material and sewn a beautiful style for us so we could wear the same outfit for Christmas thanksgiving. Lest I forget, I also bought a very beautiful George material and lace for your mom and you need the see the beautiful style I made for her as it's my Christmas gift to the old lady.
I hope you are going to take me round your village and also that village stream you always brag about how cold and clean it is.
Again, I am taking my sneakers alone so it will enable me run faster than those your village masquerades that love terrorizing visitors and I can't take their beatings for anything in the world.
Lest I forget, my man is sending his warmest regards and asked if you won't come and say hi to him before whisking me away for the whole Christmas season to your village. 😊 You know how jealous he can be whenever I'm leaving him because he will be thinking that someone might snatch me away from him.
Well, let me allow you to conclude our plans and I hope to hear positive reply from you before our departure.
You know you are always My Desire and I heart you always. Take very good care of you.
