THE DIARY GAME: 6-25-2024 | MY JOURNEY IN RENEWING MY DRIVER'S LICENSE

Dear Diary

It is a cloudy Tuesday. After I passed the driver's license online exam yesterday, I decided to proceed to the next step in the office. I came there 9:00am because I send Ezra first to my mother. When I arrived there the guard give me an application form for license renewal.

I am very fortunate because the LTO is not busy just like the other days that you need to come early to get the number. After I fill out the form, I went to a medical clinic as one of the requirements to renew the driver's license. The clinic is located at the back of the Land Transportation Office.

There is a particular test needed like the eye test, x-ray, and urine. A total of P 600.00 or approximately 30 STEEMS. I came there with many customers but the transaction and other services is very fast that is why I also finished early. After the medical result, I headed back to the office and give my documents to the frontline desk.

I went inside a quarter before 10am. I passed the following documents;

• expired driver's license
• marriage certificate because I will change my civil status
• the printed result of my online exam

The staff received my documents and told me to wait to the cashier's window for the payment. The cashier staff will just call my name.

It's 10:00 in the morning. I patiently wait. While waiting, I open my steemit account and read some post, even leaves comments. Then minutes passed I wasn't called yet. I watched YouTube, open my facebook account and after almost 2 hours of waiting my stomach signaled to eat for lunch but my name was called in the cashier's corner.

After I paid on the cashier's corner, I need to buy something outside. I saw a food stall on pork siomai. I ordered 3pcs pork siomai, 3 pcs hanging rice and 1 bottle of coke. A total of P 59.00 or approximately 2.5 STEEMS. I was in a hurry eating because I need to proceed to counter 8, Photography and Signature area. If they call my name and I am not there maybe it will cause some delay.

I sit and wait in counter 8 when suddenly they called my name for pictorial and signature. Taking photos is not allowed inside that is why I don't have much photos inside the office. They just give me the temporary ID on a printed paper and the staff told me hopefully it would be available tomorrow.

In going home, I will fetch Ezra in my mother's house. I saw the halohalo gulaman stall so I stopped and buy. Each cup costs 1 STEEM. I bought 2 cups for me and my mother.

I ate again my lunch in mother's house because 3 pcs hanging rice is not enough for me. We ate the halohalo together. I supposed to bring Ezra home but she's still still sleeping. So I decided to go back home and will fetch her when she's awake.

I went home happily because my license is already 10 years in expiration.

This has been my diary about my journey today in renewing my PRC license. As of this writing I will come back to mother's house because she texted me that Ezra is awake now.
