Working together to set up tents for orphans' feast
installing tents at school
Today, I and some young villagers received a request from the teachers at the elementary school to help set up a tent for an orphanage celebration that would be held the next day. Without thinking twice, we immediately headed to school to help prepare for the event.
Upon arrival at the school location, we saw the teachers had prepared various equipment for tomorrow's event. They were very enthusiastic in preparing this event, because this kenduri is an important moment to share happiness with orphans. As village youth, we feel proud to be able to participate in this social activity.
tent installation process
We immediately started working by setting up the main tent in the school yard. This tent will later be used as the main place for the kenduri event, a place for children to gather, and a place for guests and invitees. The process of setting up the tent requires good cooperation, because the size of the tent is quite large and requires several people to set it up properly so that it is sturdy and safe when used.
While working, we joked and chatted with the teachers. The atmosphere of mutual cooperation felt fun, because besides working, we could also share stories and strengthen the relationship between the village youth and the school. It didn't take long, the main tent was finally standing firmly, ready to be used for the next day's event.
ready to use
After the tent installation was complete, we also helped set up tables and chairs for the orphans and invited guests who would attend. The teachers thanked us for our help, and we were happy to be able to contribute to this meaningful activity.
By the afternoon, all the main preparations were almost complete. We went home with a sense of pride and happiness, for having contributed to an event full of goodness like this. Hopefully tomorrow's kenduri event will run smoothly and bring happiness to all the orphans who will attend on the day of the event.
