Synergy between Students and the Community: Unimal KKN Builds Gampong Blang to be More Advanced

This time, Gampong Blang, Syamtalira sub-district, became one of the locations for receiving students for the real work lecture (KKN) from Malikussaleh University (Unimal). The handover activity for the KKN students began in the hall of the Syamtalira Aron sub-district office, where the KKN members were officially handed over by the campus to the Gampong government.

This handover was attended by a number of parties, including representatives of Unimal, the sub-district head Syamtalira Aron, the village head of Gampong Blang and the local community. In the event, our village head as Mr. Najmi Fuadi, directly received the KKN members who will carry out the community service program in the village. In his speech, he expressed his appreciation to Unimal for choosing our village, namely Gampong Blang, as the location for KKN activities that can provide positive contributions to the community, especially in the fields of education, health and economic empowerment.

After the handover, the KKN students immediately headed to Gampong Blang to begin their service there. The community warmly welcomed their arrival, showing the typical village hospitality full of familiarity. The students were then introduced to the village officials, community leaders and important locations in the village that would become the center of their activities for the next few weeks.

Unimal KKN students are planned to run various programs that have been designed previously. Some of them include skills training for PKK mothers in the village, tutoring for school children, and health and environmental cleanliness activities. This program is designed based on the results of initial coordination with village officials to ensure that its benefits are in accordance with community needs.

The presence of KKN students is also an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the community and the world of education. Students not only learn about the lives of village communities, but also help educate the community with the knowledge they bring from their campus. In return, the community can share experiences and local wisdom that are an important part of building a village.

To our village, Mr. Najmi Fuadi closed his speech with the hope that this KKN activity can leave a positive impact and become a sweet memory for students. Hopefully, KKN students will feel at home in our village, and the planned programs can be implemented well, said our village head.

With the start of KKN activities in our village, we hope to create synergy between students, the village government and the community to work together to build a better village.
