This afternoon, my wife and I agreed to take our little daughter to play odong-odong around Simpang Rangkaya. For the past few days, she has often mentioned wanting to ride her favorite odong-odong, and finally I have free time to make her wish come true. Although the trip there took about half an hour, I was very enthusiastic because seeing my little daughter's happiness is the most valuable thing for me.

After getting ready, we immediately set off on a motorbike. Throughout the journey, my daughter looked very happy, occasionally she sang a little song while hugging her mother tightly. The road to the area around Simpang Rangkaya was quite busy, but the sunny weather made our journey comfortable. After arriving, her eyes immediately sparkled seeing the rows of colorful odong-odongs filled with decorative lights.

I immediately froze the ticket for 5,000 IDR, a very affordable price for children. What made it more fun was that the ticket was valid until the children were satisfied playing. Without hesitation, my daughter immediately chose her favorite seat in one of the small car-shaped odong-odongs. As cheerful children's music began to flow and slowly the odong-odong began to spin.

Seeing him laughing out loud and waving at me filled my heart with happiness. Every now and then he tried to stand up and dance to the rhythm of the song, while my wife and I could only smile at his funny behavior. Without realizing it, he enjoyed this ride for almost half an hour without getting tired at all.

After playing to my heart's content, I stopped by a street vendor around the location. I bought my little daughter's favorite fried sausage. While enjoying the snacks, we told each other about the excitement of playing odong-odong with our daughter, and we as her parents were very grateful to be able to accompany her playing all the time.

Before we knew it, it was getting late, and we decided to go home. On the way home, our daughter looked sleepy but still smiled contentedly. When we got home, she immediately fell asleep in her mother's arms. I looked at her sleeping face with gratitude.

Today is not about how far the journey is or how much it costs me, but about the simple happiness that can make my family smile. I hope to continue to give beautiful moments like this to my daughter, because seeing her happy is the greatest happiness in my life and my family.
