I, who did not bring equipment such as an umbrella or raincoat, was finally forced to take shelter on the side of the road, waiting for the rain to stop. The cold wind that blew made the atmosphere feel even more romantic, although a little troublesome.

After waiting for a while, the rain still refused to stop, and I decided to stop by my favorite coffee shop nearby. This place is like a second home for me and my friends, because it is often a place for us to relax after a day of work. The atmosphere of the shop remains warm even though it is still raining heavily outside.

While sipping warm coffee, my eyes fell on the mini donut snacks that were just displayed in the shop window. The price was quite affordable, only IDR 2,000 per piece. The shape was small, but the flavor choices were diverse. I ended up buying three flavors such as chocolate, strawberry and cheese. The sweet taste of the donuts blended perfectly with the warmth of the coffee, making the time waiting for the rain feel more enjoyable.

That night, I was not alone. And several friends were also at the shop, discussing various topics from serious things to just light jokes. This togetherness made the atmosphere more relaxed, as if the rain outside was just a background that complemented our story. However, time continued to run, and I realized that I had to go home soon even though the rain showed no signs of stopping.

When the rain started to ease a little, I immediately continued my journey home. Although the road was still wet and slippery, my steps felt lighter after enjoying time at the cafe with my friend. Moments like this remind me that even though rain can sometimes be a hindrance, there is always a way to enjoy it.

The rain tonight was a complement to a fairly tiring day. Taking shelter in a coffee shop, enjoying mini donuts and chatting with friends taught me a simple lesson, in a situation there are small things that we can be grateful for. Sometimes it is precisely in unexpected moments like this that we find warmth and happiness that are simple but meaningful.
