[ENG] Did you know @jsup gives you about 20x vote worth? (10x now & 10x delayed)
When you see payout estimate of your post, 50% of payout is not yours. It's distibuted as curation reward. For example, if your post payout is 10$ worth, 5$ goes to author(you) and 5$ is distributed to voters who upvoted your post.
If you delegate SP to @jsup, @jsup gives you 10x upvote to your post. You will get author's reward after 7 days. Additionaly, you will get 90% of curation reward generated by @jsup's upvote in after 23 days from your posting. Remaining 10% will be distributed to the delegators who did not post that day, as passive reward.
Thus, you get 10x vote and 90% of curation reward. It's not easy to estimate curation reward because of many factors(voting time, how many people voted before and after @jsup, etc), and it varies day by day. But in total(upvote + curation reward) it seems it's about 20x(at least way higher than 10x) and sometimes it's more than 20x.
Another good thing is that you don't need to post everyday because you will get passive reward for not posting. If you delegate SP to @jsup and don't post, you're using this vote service as a kind of staking platform. So, it's a hybrid of voting and staking service.
Last but not least, you can specify beneficiaries for your delegation, which means you can share your delegation with others. You can support your family members, friends, and your favorite authors with a portion of your delegation.
