Acts of Animal Kindness in Your Daily Life | by @senehasa
When I opened my door one morning, I saw a small squirrel at my entrance, so I took it and gave it milk with a piece of cloth.
My animal-loving son decided to care for this baby squirrel because he was too small to be released into the wild. He gradually grew healthily and spent most of his time at my son’s table.
One day, when my son left his care to me, I noticed he was not moving. When I screamed my husband came and took him out. When I realized, he was going to die, I cried like a child, pleading with him to save him.
My son had given me some phone numbers of squirrel experts, so I tried them, but no one answered. I wanted to tell my son, but I was hesitant as I felt guilty. Suddenly I received a call from the squirrel experts and asked the reason. I begged them to cure my dying pet. After requesting a video call, they administered a few drops of honey first, followed by two tablets every 4 hours.
First, I did so and allowed fresh air, while my husband administered the needed pills. A few minutes later, we noticed some progress, so I kept him in the cage and returned to the kitchen, while my husband left for his mother's house. Finally, we found he was strolling around the cage as usual.
Later, after confirming his safety, I briefed my son about this incident with some photos. He praised my intelligent acts and advised me to be more careful.
We released him to the wild a few months later, once he was healed and safe to be outdoors.
