My day starts early in the morning like everyday, but due to Muharram, I have been quite busy. Because this month is very special for us and we spend these ten days mourning the martyrs of Karbala, so my days are also busy. Due to which all my daily activities changed but from today my routine is back to normal.

Waking up early in the morning, I prayed the first prayer because a Muslim is required to pray five times a day. But the Fajr prayer is the most important because Imam Hussain (AS) sacrificed his loved ones for the sake of prayer but saved the prayer for us. After that I recited the Holy Quran and then after a short walk I had breakfast. Today I had breakfast early because I was hungry. My breakfast is simple so I ate omelette and bread for breakfast.

After I finished my breakfast, I drank a cup of tea. After drinking tea, I bake two extra rotis every day because we have two dogs outside our house who come and sit near our door in the morning. So I put a loaf of bread in the morning to the dogs and a loaf of bread to the birds that are flying over the roof.Because the most virtuous thing for us to do is to pity and help speechless animals. So feeding the mute animals who are hungry is also a virtue, that's why I feed the mute animals everyday.

After eating, I went to my fields because it has been raining for two to three days, due to which water is everywhere. Apart from this, flood water has also come into our area, due to which the crops are being destroyed. As the women living in the villages also look after the work of the fields themselves, that is why I have to take care of my fields. When I went to the fields, I fed some hungry cattle, and after that, I examined everything inside my fields.

After returning from the fields, I performed ablution and went to recite Fatiha on my father's grave because it is a very common practise among us to go to recite Fatiha on the graves of our loved ones during the days of Muharram. Ten days are spent mourning the injustice done to Imam Hussain and his family, so I was also busy for that reason. So today I have come to perform Fatiha on my father's grave. After going to the grave, I cleaned my father's grave, and then, after placing flowers on the grave, I prayed.

After reciting Fatiha, I returned home and by that time it was evening so these were my activities today which I have shared with you in my diary.
