October has come around yet again, which can only mean that Halloween is a few weeks away. Today, Jamie and I decided to do a bit of Halloween shopping.

We found a place with the rather natty title of ‘Spooky doos’. I am sure fans of a certain cartoon canine would get that pun! Soon after arriving, the sound of music drew our attention.

It was coming from a band of skeletons who were playing an oompah band version of ‘Highway to Hell’. I joked that they should have been playing numbers by,,,wait for it…Boney M. Jamie groaned too!

After listening to this odd rendition of an AC/DC tune, Jamie noticed some spooky woods, with trees that had faces like in that scene from ‘The Wizard of Oz’. She wanted to get trees like this for our Halloween party location. On the way we passed by a scary clown holding up a sign, which I thought would look great at the entrance to our venue. Jamie bought a musical box that had bats flying around.

Walking around, we found giant spiders (we kept well clear of them!) ghosts, ghouls, and plenty of pumpkins. I got this splendid pumpkin that was wearing a witch’s hat. Well, I mean, you can hardly have a Halloween party without a pumpkin or two!

This was a really fun sim. It was easy to navigate, and some of the things you could buy were great fun and would add a lot of atmosphere to any Halloween party.
