✅ What did you do?

Today being Saturday was declared a free day, and that means there will be no lectures because there was an event that would be taking place in the school, so we were free from lectures and have today as a day off.

So I thought to myself and said since today is Saturday and there's no lecture also the surrounding areas are looking very unkept, well I guess it is because of this harmattan season (winter) .

Because they leaves are always falling from the trees, especially if the trees are many in that particular place, then the place begin to look like a bush, well our is not being swept everyday, the reason why is because, most times we all leave the house very early in the morning coming back tired,

And because of that we don't get to sweep our surrounding area everyday, so today being Saturday and a free day I decided to to do it, I swept around the house.

✅ How did you do it?

Before sweeping, I started by pouring water around, well I believe most of us would know the reason why I poured water round the areas where I will be sweeping, especially those from Nigeria, well for the sake of those who do not know the reason why I poured water round before sweeping, is to avoid dust,also because I don't want to be
Affected with cough because of this harmattan season is always full of dust.

After pouring water around the dirt areas, I took my broom and began to to sweep around, and wasn't easy, because some places were even getting dried up before I could even get there, and dust was disturbing me, the surrounding area is very big, and I would have to to go inside the house to fetch another water and pour again.

✅ Where did you do it

I didn't go anywhere far to do this cleaning, it was just at the back of our house, because as they say cleanliness begins at home 😂, I can not go and be cleaning outside or somewhere else while the house that I leave in will be dirty, so I have to clean my own environment before going to clean another area.

The back of the house, where we usually rest under the mango tree was really looking dirty because of that the leaves that are always falling everytime due to this winter season, even before it is evening, everywhere will be full of leaves and dirty again.

✅ What motivated you?

Well, I guess I was motivated with the fact that my friends place is always clean up, when ever I go to visit her house I would see that there are no much leaves under the tree meaning that they have swept it, so I believe they are always sweeping that place everyday.

Although they do turn by turn, meaning that they shared the days for sweeping under the tree mango tree, now everyone know the day that they are supposed to sweep, the breeze that comes from the mango tree is very refreshing😌.
