INTRODUCTION

Welcome is a word that holds a significant meaning in every tribe an culture from around the world. It signifies hospitality and acceptance at its peak.
Whichever proper instances of using it, whether welcoming a person to your home, work place, community,etc, this kind word is fundamental when creating a connection and sense of belonging in peoples minds.

WHAT DOES WELCOME MEAN TO YOU AND WHAT DO YOU USE IT FOR?

Welcome is a greeting an an expression of hospitality extended to someone entering a place to meet others or as a newcomer. To me, it means a warm invitation for someone to feel accepted and comfortable in a place. It reflects an attitude of kindness, and generosity towards guests.

1)Welcoming a new church member
When a congregation extends a warm welcome to any newcomer, it makes them feel that their presence is being appreciated. And will also encourage them to visit someother time.

2)Welcoming guests to an event
In every social gathering,the act of welcoming guests creates hospitality in the atmosphere. It sets the stage for anticipated and memorable experience. It makes people presence feel truly valued.

3)Welcoming a new neighbor
Whenever a new person or family moves into the neighborhood, a warm welcome from other neighbors create a connection and foster cordial relationship between them. It makes them feel appreciated for moving in to join them.

HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN THIS WORD IS USED FOR YOU AND HOW DO YOU ALSO THINK THE PERSON YOU USE IT FOR FEELS ABOUT IT?

I feel appreciated, accepted, and valued whenever the word "welcome" is used for me. And I expect every other person to feel the same way. Although people react to things differently.So, some may not even put it into consideration if they're not being welcomed. For me, I love being welcome at any new environment. If I go to a place and I'm not being told welcome, I might assume that my presence is not aknowledged. And I might want to leave.

WHY SHOULD YOU USE THIS WORD MORE OFTEN AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO TEACH OUR KIDS TO USE IT?

Value of kindness and inclusivity when accepting someone can mostly be expressed by using the word "welcome. It promotes respect, and consideration for others. It is very vital to make others feel accepted and valued. By using "welcome" in your interactions, you learn to be more open-minded with people from different backgrounds.

         Teaching our  children to use "welcome" helps in developing thier  social skills,  as they will learn to acknowledge  and include others in their activities. This can help create a positive atmosphere whenever they're with their peer group and other members of the society.

Let me make it straight. I expect 2024 to be a year of growth. When I say growth, I mean financially, academically, spiritually and otherwise. I'll plan to achieve my goals by actively pursuing them. I'll be mindful of resource spending and also manage my time preference.In other to achieve this , I will seek mentorship from elders and trusted friends. Ain't no play this year 🤣🤣🤣. I am optimistic about what 2024 has in store for me and I look forward to having an amazing adventure in the year.

CONCLUSION
