"The Weather Condition in My Locality and How I'm Preparing For a Possible Disaster."

Good day and welcome to a new week Wonderful Steem Community. This is a brilliant contest by @goodybest and let's get into it together. But before then it's important to understand the phrase "Weather"

Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a given period of time.

Huh, for the past 4 days, the weather has been seriously unpredictable with frequent unexpected showers.

Beginning from Friday which happens to be the day this contest was created till this day, I'll give a run down of the weather condition of my area.

On Friday which was the 8th day of this month, the heavens seems to have been weeping as it rained so hard, the weather was gloomy and it was cold while you had to literary fly to avoid the water puddles on the street. The Colour and brightness that day was supplied by different colours of umbrellas. We had a breather in the evening as the rain decided to pause and view it's handiwork.

On Saturday, The weather was bleak and the sky was looking like a child who wanted to cry but was forced to hold back. Probably because it had compassion on the wedding ceremony nearby, as the bride was too beautiful to get soaked .... thinking of it just makes me want to greet the maker of the rain.

Sunday held the most unpredictable weather, The sky was gloomy during the morning hours, it drizzled for a few second, probably to test the firmness of the Christians heart. It however stopped and the sun rays began to fill the sky. By 3pm the sun was hot and the humidity was high. I felt like a wet fish being baked in an oven set at medium heat. Then later the weather suddenly got angry, black clouds rapidly covered the sky and it started raining. My mouth simply hung in an "O" shape as I tried to make head and tails of the weather.

Well, this day happened to be when my country Nigeria has a match against Sao Tome Principe and it happened at a stadium very close to my place "The Godswill Akpabio Intentional Stadium" popularly known as the nest of champions. The weather tried, but really did not destroy our vibe.

Today, the sun seems very reluctant to show it glory. So the weather cannot be termed bright but it's fair at least.
At least we can go about our normal day activities.

Luckily for me, the topography and the landforms in this part of the state is okay. So there's no big time disaster here. However there are problems after all, here they are;

Apart from the flooded streets which is no headache to me as my legs were crafted for such conditions. I simply just leap over the water on the street.

But the main headache lies in my garden, the weeds are almost knee length and my plants are loosing the fight for nutrients to the weeds. And I just can't weed the garden as the weeds would only grow back the next week as if they never have been cut. However this really is no disaster to the world but to me...🙄

Also the severe rain these days, have affected my waterleaf garden. The rain just washes the top soil exposing the roots of the waterleaf and some parts simply has no waterleaf at all..... This waterleaf farm has always been of big help, you can guess I love eating soups😌.

I however know, somewhere around the world, this rain has not been fair as people are rendered homeless, life's are being lost....I sympathize with them.
