Week 2: A Child, A Million miles Food aid was successfully Carried out

For the second week of this food distribution, we agreed to go to Greenpears International Schools that is close to Water board in Oron road, Uyo.

We spoke with the school Administrator about cooked food, she said we will have to come to the school and prepare the food if it must be cooked food. So, we decided to go for noodles which she accepted. And then informed the kids so that they can take the news home. She made arrangements for us so that we can carry it out even if she is not around.

Before that day, the steem was transferred to the official account of this project from @smilenigeria and @steemkidss which was converted to our currency and used to purchase all the things we need for the week

After the purchases on Wednesday, we then communicated to all the team members in the team and went to the school. Upon getting to the school, we were given the go ahead to distribute the food aids. They made the kids line up and then we gave them theirs. They were very happy to receive their aids. And the happiness in your faces were evident to all. We are glad to have done our our part to take these aids to the kids. We are looking to the next one.

Volunteers

This project for the week was carried out by a team of 7 members . They willingly came out and supported the movement, doing their part in sharing, taking photographs, arranging the kids, cheering them, and the rest. These ones are highly valued and appreciated.

These ones were with me in this journey, they shared both the joy and the pains. But trust me, the joy was worth all efforts. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the kids put much joys on our hearts and faces that we are willing to continue in this journey.
