SEC17 WK:#6: My Family, My Pride!
Good day everyone! I'm grateful to steem kids and parents* for giving us this wonderful contest, it is a great opportunity for us because we would be able to share the bonds we have with our family. I'm excited to share with you my write up on the topic of the week "My Family, My Pride." In this wonderful piece, I am going to tell us the profound impact family has had on our life's and the deep sense of pride and belonging it has instilled in us.As we delve into this writing, we'll discover the power of family bonds, the support they provide, and the sense of identity and belonging they bring. So, without further ado, let's explore the beautiful gift of "My Family, My Pride."
There are a lot of things that makes my family my pride, their love, care their presence alone makes my family my pride. But today I'm just going to talk on few things that makes my family my pride
My family are my pillars in this life that I've come to because without them I'm very sure that I would have either gone astray or I would have joined one bad gang or the other. So I'm going to be thanking my parents for been that pillar. They've guided me, trained me, been my best friend and everything that you can think of most especially my mom. If not for that sweet and loving and caring woman in my life where would I have been, hunger for don kill me that is to say I would have died because of hunger she's has been my everything, my all in all, if I'm to come back to this life and I'm opportuned to choose a parent I would definitely choose mine because those people have really tried for me and my siblings.
It is hard to see a family that even when times are hard they make sure that their kids eat two times in a day even if they themselves don't eat it's very rare. That's why I'll keep saying my family is my pride
If you've noticed there isn't a family that you won't see one of the children having issues with the other's over something fragile or you'll see the elder one taking sides with the last born just to please and make him/her happy. Yes it is bound to happen in a family unless you're the only child in that family then you might not understand but nevertheless it is one of the attributes that makes those siblings grow stronger one of those attributes that make the bond stronger.
There's no way that you'll see brothers and sister fighting or both brothers fighting indoor and when one of the other has a problem outside the other would leave him death never one of the two will always have that animal instinct to save is sibling first before knowing what was wrong in the first place. And me and my siblings has gone through this path even up until this very moment that I'm writing I'm having a quarrel with my senior brother but that doesn't keep us from being siblings or hate each other to the extent that if one of us is in trouble we won't help ourselves out very rare before that happens.
There was even a time I found myself in a very tight situation and I never taught that my brother would come to my aid because that very day we have fought so I had zeroed my mind on him coming to help. But to my greatest surprise I saw him coming with some other guys to come fend off the people that had ganged up against me. So you've seen now that no matter the quarrel you have with your sibling as long as that family bond is there they will always come to rescue no matter where you are.
My family is one of this families that is filled with love and care up to the brim. They care alot that sometimes I do pray not to care like that, not that it is a bad thing, but I always think that it was too much until I grew up to understand that showing love to other people aside from your family is creating a family outside that when you're in need and you run to them they would gladly help you out. That is one of the things I've learnt from my parents Love.
When there is a problem at hand that my parents think it's necessary to share with us the children so we can solve it together they would and there have been situations that we've had problem as a family and we figured out a solution to that problem as one and that problem was gone because we did it as a family. That is the power of family
That's why I will always say that as long as we are a family there is no obstacle that we can't cross
My Family will always be My Pride wherever I find myself and in any situation that I might find myself I'll always remember them being by my side. So I'm forever grateful for the family that I found myself in and I'll be forever proud of that family for the rest of my life.

I once had a fight with someone is school, trust me, a hot one, my bro was in the same school with me, that afternoon after school, one is my classmate block me on my way home because I wrote his name on the noise makers list, he came with his friends. That's how the fight started, one person to face 5 people, who does that, I collect blue black.
I don't know how my brother got to know about it, suddenly he jacked them up, omo, I never see my brother fighting like that day. It's was after the fight he asked me"what really happened" 🤣
This is to show that the family bond is different from friend, though can show empathy and care but it's different from family. our parents has done a lot to use , bringing up everyone of us, feeding, clothing and providing shelter. We need to celebrate them and valued our family. Best wishes to you and your family.
