FAMILY

Family is a union of people living consisting of a father, mother, and their children, living together and commonly related of the same ethnicity and blood, we all come from different backgrounds either poor, average, or rich, staying together or separately but have love and affection for each other.

TYPES OF MARRIAGE PRACTICES IN MY COUNTRY

In my country Nigeria(obodo Naija), it's mainly religious and court marriage.

DESCRIPTION OF MARRIAGE TYPE ABOVE

RELIGIOUS MARRIAGE It could be traditional or church, based on the beliefs of the couples, it involves the use of a ring and affectionate promises in the church or the use of animals or ancestral clothes to bless the couple, mainly done by a priest or the religious elders.

COURTSHIP This is mainly or based on documentation, with the aid of a recognized attorney to file a lawsuit in terms of break or divorce, equal rights on shares and properties will be considered, it happens mostly in urban areas.

FIVE BENEFITS OF LIVING TOGETHER

COMMUNICATION Members of the family will feel free to express themselves, nobody will be bored or lonely, and everyone will have someone to talk to and listen to.

SELF-LOVE Self-treatment matters a lot, no one will be bothered or disturbed, and having people who will always check up on you is a blessing.

UNITY Because all heads are one, the family will always expect less pressure from people or the community at large, because they understood their purpose as a family.
