Contest!!! : How do you prepare for an examination?
Hi guys how are you all doing I hope all is and you all are having a blessed day, today I will be taking part in a contest organised by @simonnwigwe with the theme "How do you prepare for an examination".
INTRODUCTION
Student life is always the best life because you will get to meet a lot of people and make a lot of new friends, but examination period is a period of high climax which a lot of students will be serious and some will just careless.
Different students have their own different way that suits them in preparing for an upcoming examination in any given examination setting.
HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR AN EXAMINATION?
Typically speaking there are no special way in preparing for an examination as a student, so how I usually prepare for an examination is by reading ahead of time example if the exams is in two months time I will start now to read extensively so that when it's exams period it will just be a walk in the park for me.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TRICK THAT YOU HAVE DEVELOPED OVER TIME THAT WORKS PERFECTLY FOR YOU?
Yea!! The only trick which I have developed in preparing for an examination, which has greatly worked perfectly for me is by trying my best to get familiar with my notes.
Which is possible through extensive reading and also reading ahead of time to make me to become familiar with the pages so that in the exams hall once I see any question I will remember the page and immediately remember all that was written there and I will write them down immediately.
WHEN IS YOUR FAVOURITE TIME TO STUDY FOR AN EXAMINATION AND WHY?
For me my favourite time to study for an examination is at night, and why I choose this time to be my favourites reading time is because at night 🌃 it's always very quiet and my mind is always very calm thus enhancing my ability to grasp and get what I'm reading.
DO YOU FEEL SCARED WHEN GOING IN FOR EXAMS? HOW HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO CONTROL OR FIGHT THIS FEELING?
It's always very much normal for a student to be scared when going in for an examination even if the students was prepared or not prepared, the feeling is always the same because there know very well that the exams will determine their future.
So for me I've always been afraid when going into an examination hall for an exams because at some point I will be bothered with what kind of questions will be asked weather it will be to difficult or not, so I'm always very curious, anxious and scared all at once when going in for an exams.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE TO THOSE WHO STILL FIND IT DIFFICULT TO PREPARE FOR AN EXAM?
The advice that I have for those who are still having a hard time preparing for an exams is that when you are going in for an exams just try to free your mind and avoid any form of distractions.
And before the start of the exams try as much as you can to revise what you have raid a little, and if the questions in the exams is not what that was taught just group all the students and report such lecturer to the school authorities.
CONCLUSION
Getting prepared for an exams requires time, seriousness and self-determination but also note that no matter how prepared you are no matter what you will always be scared when going in for an exams because it's a natural feeling.
