What an exciting week it was when it came to guessing this week’s word! A word was guessed that I’ve never heard of. Also, you could see that the participants analyzed the clues to the "T."

Talking about clues, let’s take a last look at those clues that got all of you scratching your heads.

And the correct word is " MONKEYWRENCHING."

Monkeywrenches are those "environmental warriors."

An example of monkeywrenching is when these monkeywrenchers chain themselves to trees to prevent them from being cut down. It can happen in three formats: disobedient, destructive, or upheaval (terrorism).

Another word for monkeywrenching is "ecodefense."

When they are disobedient, it is normally in a peaceful manner, like Julia Butterfly Hill, who sat in the top of a 1,000-year-old tree for 738 days to avoid destroying it.

Destructive is when monkeywrenchers cut the fishing nets of fishermen or stole the gasoline from earthmoving equipment to hinder them from doing escalation work.
