Wednesday – I spy with my little eye – Mini contest (31)
Hello kids and parents!
I trust that you all had a beautiful Valentine’s Day that was filled with love not only for those close to you but also for yourself.
That’s right, there is nothing wrong with pampering yourself on this day. Something to remember for the next Valentine’s Day which is only 364 days away.
Let’s take one more look at the clues of last week;
1. It is a 12-letter word
2. They often regularly go somewhere
3. They watch something
4. They have to follow certain etiquette
And the word is ... THEATERGOERS!
We get two different spellings, “theatregoers” and “theatergoers”.
Theatergoers, is used in American English while theatregoers, is used in British English.
What is interesting is that in a country like Australia, there is not enough data to determine which version is preferred.
Now if you want to go to a theater best to take notice of the following;
› Arrive on time
› No use of cell phones during a show
› Photography or videoing is not allowed
› No eating or drinking during a show
› Cough while covering your mouth
› Keep your opinion to yourself
› Don’t sing along
› Don’t fall asleep
› Don’t talk during the show
› Respect your neighbor’s space
› Don't leave before the show is over
In the end, going to the theater boils down to three things, consideration, respect, and honesty.
Guess what? We had a winner!
Well done to @prabin09
The prize for next week will now be 2 STEEM.
Time for your next game!
The game is exactly like last week;
The game “I spy with my little eye” is sort of a detective game. The “spy” is the person who sees something and the rest of the players must then guess what the spy is seeing.
Of importance, it must be something that you can see and not something you can feel like an emotion.
BUT, “I spy with my little eye” is so much more than just a spy game;
- It is a thinking game
- It teaches you how to use your logic and reasoning and
- It grows your vocabulary
The contest
For today I am going to give you the letter with which the word starts plus 4 points or “clues” which you can take into consideration to figure out what the word can be.
Ready or not… let’s learn, play and win!
I spy with my little eye something that begins with the letter “B”.
1. It is a 9-letter word
2. It can be mine, yours, or someone else’s

And another... thank you! 🧀
Hi, @patjewell
It's been a while and I've decided to begin this three-week school break with the “I spy” contest.
Here's the link to mine.
https://steemit.com/hive-139765/@ukpono/answer-or-wednesday-i-spy-with-my-little-eye-mini-contest-31
While trying to pick a more suitable answer, I realized that I would have loved it if the parts of speech are stated.
Don't blame me. A grammarian needs some clues sometimes.
The thought struck me when I came across a word with the inflectional morpheme “-ing”. It left me wondering if I should focus on finding a noun or a verb.😂
Well done girl! You've put a big smile on my face.
Seeing that you are on holiday, game #32 awaits you.
Good luck!🍦
The 9-letter word that fits the clues is "BENEFACTS".
• It is a 9-letter word.
• It can be mine, yours, or someone else's, referring to the good things that are done or provided for someone else.
• It is more than facts, referring to the positive impact and outcomes resulting from good deeds or contributions.
• You need permission, as in some cases, a benefactor might need permission or approval before providing aid or assistance to someone or an organization.
Thanks
@yourloveguru.
Thank you for your participation! It is always nice to see a new face.
Wednesday is just around the corner. Luckily you don't have to wait long to know if you are a winner. (•ิ‿•ิ)
I love your answer.
Well my guess is "Behaviour".
Umh... thank you for entering.
And now you only have to wait until Wednesday to see if you are a winner (•ิ‿•ิ)
I'm excited to find out whether or not I'll be the lucky one!
Haha! Unfortunately my fingers are... zipped! (•ิ‿•ิ)
😅Huge congratulations to me💐🎊!
Now moving to another question!
"Borrowing" is a word that meets all the criteria:
In reference @patjewell
And... Wednesday is only a few days away! (•ิ‿•ิ)
Thank you for entering!
Yeah valentine's day is full of love but for someone it is too much hurting day also. Due to some reason I have spent that day very dull and ugly
Sorry!
I hope the next one turns out better
