It was a wonderful day today at Dominion Academy Group of School ( DAGS) as they brought the term and the session to a close paving way for The final year students to graduate and face a new phase of life.
I thank God my son was one of the graduating students today {right) with his beloved friend turned brother.
Today's weather was a mixture of rain and sunshine and God honored the day by making sunshine to superceed rainfall.
Though my phone had a little storage problem so that's why I couldn't take enough pictures to write on.
Staring from the procession of the graduates to the award presentation, everything was beautiful and colorful and I thank God my son did not go empty handed as he got a second place award in Geography while his friend came 1st.
At least my journey of six years at DAGS is not in vain and I thank God there was no evil report whatsoever to make me bury my face in shame.
Dominion Academy Group of Schools is a school where every child is shaped to bring out the best in him or her and I thank God I have seen a change in my son.
The wonderful thing about DAGS is that entrepreneurship is compulsory and today students really showcased what they have acquired through it.
Before my son's graduation today, he could repair some electronics and wire a house as 8 saw in his proprietor's phone and also know how to care for animals as he took up animal husbandry as part of his enterpreneuship. Others could see, cook, make shoes and all of that.
To grace the occasion was Dr Udom from University of Calabar and others and he admonished the graduants to see tomorrow as a new phase of life and embrace it with courage and shun evil company.
The graduation cake was made and had English and Chemistry written on them.
The graduants gathered and cut the cake then it was shared.
It tasted nice
After the cutting of the cake, it was shared and it tasted real good.
The thanks giving service was also held today instead of tomorrow because of the time we are in now.
The students danced express joy and happiness and the parents also danced and rejoiced with them .
It was now testimony time to say thank God and I expressed my gratitude to God Almighty for seeing me through thick and thin to care for him these past six years .
It has not been easy but God did it.
Some shots I took during the ceremony
Thank you Jesus for all you have done for me today. I will ever remain grateful to you.
