Contest: How I Feel When I See A Child Express Surprise!
Greetings to you all dear steemians in the Steem Kids & Parents Community where kid's affair is paramount. It gives me much pleasure to be able to Meetup and join in this week-4 of the child's contest. Surprise is a state or the feeling of unexpected circumstances, so in the case of kids, depending on their ages and consciousness, they express surprises. Hence, a much close attention to a kid, reveals much more about their surprises.
✓ Did you see a child that is surprised? take a picture of him or her if it's possible and share but don't force them to be surprised 😯 for the purpose of this contest. Just observe. |
---|
Yes! I have seen my boy expresses surprise many times even though I myself felt surprised the first time I saw him did that. Having come to know that surprise is attached to an unexpected happening, I then understand that such happenings is a novel act to him.
✓ What is the reason why he or she is surprised 😯 at the moment? Is it positive or negative surprise? |
---|
From the above picture, he is surprised at seeing the television on and picture of people moving on the screen. I do not know if he understands anything going on there, but his curiosity of looking even when I cover his view proof that he is surprised, and his surprise is positive because it shows that his psychomotor senses is perfectly working.
✓ How do you feel when you see him or her express surprise either positive or negative one? |
---|
To be candid, at first I was surprise, that is his state of surprise makes me surprise, but when I realize that it is part of his development makes me feel happy. In fact, the look on his face is a source of joy to us.
✓ What can you do or what have you done in a situation where a child feels surprised either in a positive or negative way? |
---|
As a parent, what I do is to first identify the source or what makes him feels that way, by this I will be able to arrest the situation should incase it is negative. That situation is also an opportunity for me to use in teaching the child as he grows up.
Conclusion |
---|
Conclusively, feeling surprise is not a bad thing weather positively or negatively, so I encourage the parents and other care givers to give more attention to the kids so as to ascertain the causes of their surprises so as to quickly do something to either stop or assist them from surprises. I really appreciate your effort in putting on the thinking cap to bring such a sensitive topic to the community's contest ground.
I would appreciate @bela90, @manuelhooks, @bossj23, @patudoh, @goodybest, @xkool24, @ruthjoe, @nsijoro and other would be parents in the community to turn in their contributions as I invite them to this contest.
