Help the Kids to develop their creativity...Create something from nothing(paper crafts-orgami)

Hello beautiful people of @steemkids community. I hope we are all doing fine. I'm here today to create an amazing art, thanks to @ngoenyi for organizing this paper craft contest.

What is the name of what you have made with paper?

What I have made with my own paper is actually called a pencil box origami. This pencil box is actually made from a piece of paper.

I used an A4 paper with width of 21cm(short side) and length of 30cm(long side) and a biro.

Steps on how I made this

Please follow these steps carefully to achieve this.

1. Fold the short sides together to have like a square shape.

2.Fold it again to have a rectangular shape.

3.Open the second fold.

4.By the sides of the fold, fold in one half side

5.Repeat no. 4 in the other side.

6.On the other side you folded no.4, fold one of the side down.

7.Repeat no.6 on the other side.

8.Fold in the right side to the left side.

9.Fold in the left side too and turn to the back of the paper.

10.Repeat the folding on the back side and open.

11.Fold in the shorter side.

How did I get the idea?

Most times kids have a lot of writing and drawing items like pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, and it gets littered everywhere in their room. Some don't even get to know where they kept it after use.

So I figured a way to help store these items in one box and it can be made from paper.

How useful is what I have done?

It's useful in helping kids pack in their writing and drawing items and the good thing is ,it can be done with paper and cardboard and it can be painted in different colours to add beauty to their reading tables. It encourages more art and crafts for a study room.

Which child did you inspire or intend to inspire and help develop creativity?

I did inspire my small cousins to make this beautiful piece of art ,since they are in primary school, they use alot of writing materials and most times they come home to do their homework, they end up misplacing their pencil or pens or rulers and new sets are being bought.

Conclusion

It was really a nice time redoing this piece as I saw the contest. It's really useful for kids.
