Hello everyone in @steemkids community, as a lover of kids, I am happy to participate in this wonderful contest, I want to appreciate @steemkids community and @eliany for organizing this contest, this contest is about how to stay fit and healthy.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO STAY FIT AND HEALTHY?
Staying fit and healthy does not only entails how you look good physically, but it’s how you feel inside, infact your overall health.
It could also mean your ability to carry out daily task comfortably without your system breaking down.

BENEFITS OF STAYING FIT AND HEALTHY
There are many benefits of staying fit and healthy which I will love to highlight.

• Staying healthy and fit helps increase one’s life span: if we want to live long and healthy then we should engage ourselves in body fitness activities like moderate intake of alcohol, not smoking, regular exercise, eating healthy diet and drinking enough clean water.

• Staying healthy makes one feel better: old age comes with many health problems but staying healthy and fit now reduce such risk and build self confidence.

• It reduces stress: when you stay fit and healthy you will be able to control stress which will result in low risk of anxiety.

• It reduces medical bills: this may sound funny but it’s true, when you stay fit and healthy, there will be no need to visit hospital frequently and this results in reduced medical bills.

• Staying healthy and fit helps protect our sight: by eating healthy, we stand a better chance to have a better vision as we grow older.

• It enhanced fertility

• When you stay healthy and fit, you look beautiful leading to rise in self esteem and this will result in a satisfying life.

WHAT KEEPS ME HEALTHY AND FIT

I formed the habit of drinking a bottle of water first thing in the morning and as the day proceeds I make sure I drink at least 2litres of water every day.

THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER FIRST THING IN THE MORNING

• It increases skin radiance living it flawless: Drinking water first thing in the morning helps your body to release toxins faster and this will make your skin glow and beautiful, it will aid in production of new blood cells.

• It helps in weight loss: Early morning water reduces hunger and decrease craving, and as the body release toxins, movement of bowels begin, this process recovers and improve digestive system.
Water help in purifying your colon allowing the organ to absorb nutrient faster naturally.

• Drinking water on an empty stomach increases hair growth and it’s characteristics.

• Water relieves heartburn and ingestion: early morning water pushes down acid from the body and dilute the stomach, the water then reduces the amount of acid in your stomach such that you feel comfortable when eating breakfast.

• Early morning water dilutes stomach acidity and reduces the chance of kidney stones, and helps the body release more toxins which prevent bladder infection.

• Drinking early morning water helps strengthen your immune system which prevent you from getting sick.

MY ADVICE TO THOSE WHO NEGLECT THEIR HEALTH.
Healthy is life, having highlight carefully the benefits of drinking water in the morning, I will advice everyone to form the habit of drinking water first thing in the morning, it may be hard to start, but the benefits Worth the effort, parents can also help their kids to form this habit as it will help them stay healthy and fit.

DO STEEMIT CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR STAYING HEALTHY?
My answer is yes, steemit is much about learning and research, since I join steemit 2months ago, the knowledge I have acquire on healthy life is super abundant, and I have tried to carry them out and they work really good, I have learn about the health benefits of some fruit that I am eating now, and this has contribute to my staying healthy and fit.
Steemit has also help me see the benefits of regular exercise, which has also keep me healthy and fit, falling sick is on a very rare occasion.
