everyone a lesson. She decided not to give her eggs to the farmer and sat on them for many days. Seeing this situation the duck started to lay two eggs every day to support the family. The farmer started to sell one egg to earn money and with one egg he fed the family. The duck never acted proudly and greeted hen and the dog every morning happily. And the farmer still took care of hen and fed her the same way he was feeding the duck and the dog. Almost 20 days passed, the hen became very sad and angry that everyone was living their lives normally as before and no one was affected for not getting the eggs from her. On the 21st day, from the eggs that the hen was sitting on, beautiful chicks were hatched. Everyone in the house loved the chicks. Now the hen became very happy and prouder than before. She wouldn’t even let the duck and the dog come near her chicks. One day out of nowhere a cat attacked the chicks. Hen tried to protect her kids but was helpless. She started screaming and crying and begged the cat to leave her kids but all her efforts went in vain. While the cat was taking one of the chick, suddenly the dog jumped on the cat and rescued the chick. The cat was scared and she ran away. Now the hen was very embarrassed and realized that the duck was right and nothing is useless in this world. The hen thanked the dog for his help and apologized to him for the way she treated him. The hen then apologized to the duck as well for her arrogant behavior and afterwards they all started to live happily together.
