Thank you , you're welcomed. These are the exact words we do say when someone thank us for doing something. You're Welcome. At first, I found it absurd to receive such greetings though not until I came to a realisation it's part of courtesy. How well do you know this word; Welcome?

What does 'welcome' mean to you and what do you use it for? Mention 3 instances

For me, the word 'welcome' can mean a few different things. But it is mostly used as a greeting to make someone feel at ease and comfortable in a new place or situation. It can also be used to express gratitude for a person's presence or participation. Overall, it is a way of expressing acceptance and kindness.

I usually use the word 'welcome' especially when someone is returning from somewhere like work, market, school, etc.

  1. One of 3 instances I'm going to give was when my mom came back from her shop yesterday, I told her 'welcome' mom.

  2. Another instance was when I was in school, my roommate came back from classes, and she looked stressed. As she walked into the room, I told her 'welcome'.

  3. The last instance was when my friend came back from work and we were chatting online, so I told him 'welcome'.

So I use this phrase both physically and online.

How do you feel when this word is used for you and how do you also think the person you use it for feels about it.

Whenever I'm being told 'welcome' at any place I'm at, it makes me feel welcomed and accepted in whatever that's happening there and puts my mind at ease thereby making me feel confident. I also believe that whenever I use the word 'welcome' on either my friend or family member, it makes them feel at ease with me and makes them feel accepted around me.

Why should you use this word more often and why is it important to teach our kids to use it

I should be using the word "welcome" more often as it is important in helping to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment. It helps people know that they are accepted and valued, no matter who they are or where they come from. Also By teaching our kids to use the word "welcome," we can help them develop empathy and kindness towards others.

In a world that can often feel divided and unwelcoming, using "welcome" more often can be a small but powerful way to make a difference.

As you welcome 2024, what are your expectations and how do you intend to achieve them?

My expectations for this year isn't anything spontaneous or any big goals or something. My main expectation is to do everything I said I'll do to move the needle in my business, career and life and Didn't do, this time with a little more intention. I intend to achieve my expectations by disciplining myself to starve distractions and focus on getting my tasks done. Then stay committed to my priorities
