Ohkay, I think this contest found me well because I just returned back to school this week on a Monday and here I am, already starting the journey that lies ahead of me, a stressful semester to be faced..

Are you a student, parent or teacher? How many days within the week did you go to school this week? We're you punctual all the days or there were some days you went late. What happened

I identify myself as a university student. And this week, I've only been to school once due to us not having classes other days. One the particular day I went to school, which was Wednesday, we had an early class by 8am and I went by 7:50am. I had to be in school before 8am by all means because that particular lecturer doesn't tolerate lateness and tardiness to his class so in as much as I'm trying to come early, I also have to look like medical student. And it helps to go early because I have the advantage of sitting in front seat so I can hear the man as he dictates the class note.

What school related activities did you engage in to ensure that you, your kids or your students enjoy every school day?

Well, there aren't much daily school activities that goes on but I think the one I find most interesting is the hospital rounds we go for almost everyday. It's called "clinical posting" for medical students, An academic procedure whereby third and fourth uear Medical students go to the hospital to learn the practical aspect of their profession. This exercise is always fun because we get to wear scrubs, interact with patients, learn new things about the human body and appreciate our profession more. Besides, it is exciting to be outside classes and hectic lectures for a while.

The stress you faced due to school activities? Are They burdensome or you enjoyed them?

I don't think I've ever enjoyed any part of school stress, maybe because I've not really seen anything school related that the stress is manageable. **Everyday, we have classes from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with less than 45 mins break... Back to back writing and listening and preparing for exams... At the end of the days we are always so exhausted and barely have time for ourselves. That's one major stress we face each day.

Another stress comes directly from the department. We pay for something new every single day and they're always on our necks about an assignment, a test, or an exam ... I know it's part of school activities but the pressure is too much and it affects everyone thereby making people stressed.

What is your expectations for the coming school week and how are you going to achieve them?

For the coming school week, I know it's going to be so hectic especially because we may probably write our first professional exams and I'm really nervous because I'm not adequately prepared. But I know that I can prepare before then even if it means staying up late to study, staying behind after school to read and attempt past questions. I honestly don't want to get really anxious or stressed or overwhelmed about what the coming school week brings, I'm going to especially focus only on what I can control and leave what I can't control.

Why should you not miss any school day? As a parent, why should you not allow your children to miss school any day?

Well, I think it's vital that we as students don't miss any school day because a lot of important information is passed each day and while there might be an online platform to relay them, it's nothing compared to the notes the lecturers dictate in class, or the subtle exam points and hints they drop while teaching.

And let's not even talk about the relationships you build with your classmates who understand a particular subject than you do and you may need their help explaining it to you. Asides other extra curricular activities that makes school fun, I think school is more than a learning environment, it is a social environment and at such going everyday will really make much of a difference.

@mkgirl77! It sounds like you've had a busy week balancing your academic responsibilities and extracurricular activities. Attending your early classes and participating in clinical postings demonstrate your dedication to your studies and your passion for your field. The stress of school can be overwhelming at times, especially with back-to-back classes and constant pressure from assignments and exams. However, your determination to stay focused and prioritize your studies for the coming week shows your resilience and commitment to success. Success.
