"Weekly Contest 03 || The Diary Game || [27/04/2024] Going To The Salon To Make My Hair And Not Having Appetite To Eat

Hello beloved steemians across the globe, it's your favorite girl @missyleo. It's still weekend and I believe you have had a peaceful night rest and this morning you're all preparing to go to your different place of worship, as for me, I am there already as I'm typing.

I wanna say a big thank you to our dear lady @m-fdo for organizing such a wonderful and amazing contest, and I'm very excited to also participate.

Before I can begin telling you how my yesterday went, I will like to invite this few friends of mine to take part in this contest @megareigns @eveetim and @benton3.

Please follow me as I take you through the lines of my yesterday activities.

At about 6: 30am that I saw myself awake, just before I stepped out of bed I made a prayer to God, thanking Him for His faithfulness towards me and also committing all my day into His hand. After the prayer I lay my bed, slept the room and tidy up things that needed to be clear. After that I went and brushed my teeth.

I had laundry to make, so I got into it sharpenly, though the clothes were not much so I was able to finished on time. Then after I went and took my bath, dressed up and stepped out to the salon to make my hair. That was about 12noon when I arrived at the salon.

Sorry, while on my way to the salon, one of my girlfriend called me to asked to accompany her to a business seminar by 2pm, so I told her I'm at the salon, that I would love to come but since I don't know what time my stylist will finish with my hair, but I still assured her that anytime I'm done with the hair I will come.

Since my hair is a natural hair, and it's twisting I always like to do. She was fast with the hair even as I have a big head and plenty hair on my head too 😜.

When she was done with my hair it was about 2pm, so I paid her the sum of NGN1,000 naira, that's about (2.8 steems ). After paying her I left there to the house to change into something better so that I can go for the business meeting with my friend.

I called my girlfriend for the location of the place and she drop me a text message for the location. If not that I've already promised her that I will be coming I would have not step out of the house under the scorching sun, I was sweating profusely as I was going on the road to board a bus to the location.

As the bus dropped me he charged me NGN 200 which is about (0.88 steem). As I was trying to locate the number of the street my friend send to me, immediately a car splashed dirty water on me and ruin one side of my leg, my shoe amd my dress became dirty, and when i looked up to see the car driver if he will at least say sorry, behold it was a Police Van and two policemen were sitting on the back of the van with gun just looking at me without saying anything, I gave them Waka 🖐️, to my surprised they both of them laughed.

When I finally see the location, as I enter the building there was a young lady by the entrance door took down my name and collected a code from the message my friend send me, before I was permitted to enter the business hall for the teaching.

I didn't see my girlfriend there but saw many people there, and there was a pretty lady giving a motivational talk about money using PowerPoint presentations with pictures of people that have made millions of naira just in a short period of 3months after joining their business. That was when I knew that I was in a wrong place, I just sat there for 5mins to receive the breeze from the fan before I could step out from the hall.

As I left the hall downstairs, the lady by the door was asking me why am I going, and I told her bluntly that this is not what I expected and I left. I called my friend and pour out my anger to her for making me waste not just my transport but for allowing the hot sun to beat me, imagine my girlfriend was just laughing over the phone, at the end she ask me to come to her house and I went there.

I arrived my friend place, the anger in me has calmed as I saw her, we all boosted into laughing after she explained how come about the message and the invitation to me.

I stayed with my friend for a long time that I even forgot to snap any pictures of her and me, (too bad). If I want to go she will plead for me to stay a little more that she will be lonely, so by the time I finally left her house it was 6pm at a dot, and that was when I felt hungry because since day break I have not eaten anything that's because I wasn't feeling hungry , I did not have taste for anything.

So I got home, changed my dress into something free, entered the kitchen to parboil white rice to use and eat with my okro soup because I didn't feel like swallowing.

After it was done, I dished out what I will eat into the plate and put the soup on top it then I started eating.

After eating my food, I freshened up and log into my Steemit account and try commenting on other people's post and upvote too, after then I tried making this post but the call of nature (sleep) came calling so I slept off, so I decided to share it with you this morning.
