Old Time Children's Games That Are Popular
My arrival was immediately greeted by the traditional games of the children of Lagang village. As we know, traditional children's games are currently very rarely played in our society.
However, this is not the case with the children of Lagang village, look at the picture above, they are still playing sipatu bruek U, maybe in Indonesian it is a coconut shell shoe game, or catfish shell, and also a long pole game. They play this game every day, and get full support from their parents, as well as all elements of society in Lagang village, the goal is for children to continue to socialize with their environment.
The loud applause from these children indicates that they are very happy, and enjoy the games they play in the Menasah yard of Lagang village, Sawang District, Sunday afternoon. The game played is very simple, sipatu bru'ek U, we Acehnese call it. or in Indonesian coconut shell shoes.
In addition, there is also a long pole game that the children of Lagang village play, this game they can make themselves using the equipment around them. Like the game sipatu bru'ek U (Coconut Shell Shoes), these children only need the remaining coconut shells attached with raffia rope, and then they can race with their friends, to reach the finish line.
This traditional game is played by the children of this village, without the lure of prizes, their parents deliberately let their children play every afternoon, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, so that the children get used to traditional games, and they can be more sensitive to their environment, without using Gadgets or games with other technologies that can kill children's creativity and social sense
In addition to playing sipatu bru'ek U (coconut shell shoes), the children of Lagang village also play, the long pole game.
maybe in Indonesian it is the sambar elang game, there are various names for this game. Well, this is a form of cooperation and support from parents that I think is quite good, for children's education, so that they do not live alone, children can socialize with the community. yes, we hope this is not only done here, but also in various places, where children can feel the beauty of life in the 80s, or 90s.
By using traditional games like this, it is hoped that children in this village can interact and learn to appreciate the world around them. That is the story I can share this time, hopefully there are benefits to be gained.
Greetings always compact.
