There are actually instances in my life that I was close to losing people in my life but thanks be to God that I learnt the act of forgiveness and let people go no matter what they do. There are some people that I am still friends with that it is because I actually learnt the act of forgiveness. I was able to forgive. Yes I can vividly say it was not easy at first but I tried to master it and at the end of the day, it becomes part and parcel of me. One of the things I will like to tell someone today is at first, forgiveness will not be easy. But we just need to fight it and let people go. There is no point dwelling in bitterness. Bitterness will not settle any issue. If we don't forgive, we are a prisoner to ourselves which should not actually be so. We must learn the act of forgiveness. A lot of families are living in peace because they learn the act of forgiveness
