Good day steemians!

Its been almost 2 months since my hubby worked abroad but it feels like 10 years that he was away from us. But life must go on because we both decide this.

Last saturday, after I washed our white clothes because I usually bring our colored clothes to the laundry shop and just wash by my own the white clothes, Matheena approached me and asking for a date. She told me that she wanted to go somewhere. So, I promised her that we will go to LG Garder, buy some groceries and have some dinner after she will have an afternoon nap. So, around 1:30 she then had a nap. And woke up around 2:30. When she woke up, she didnt forgot what I said, and said lets go mommy.

So, I granted her request fix ourselves and went there around 4:30.

We first went to LG Garden Supermarket, and I bought some biscuits and drinks for Matheena's snacks in school and at the house good for 1 week. I also bought some of my essentials. I paid 899php all in all.

Before, when my hubby was still here in the Philippines, I usually visited the grocery every payday and will pay more or less 3000php. But right now, it is so difficult for me to buy some stuff every payday because our house is a bit far in the road so I still had to walk around 200-300 meters from my parking area carrying those heavy stuffs. So, I changed my routine and instead of buying stuff good for 2 weeks, I just buy weekly so I can just manage carrying some stuff without asking any help.

There were really lots of changes I made when my hubby went abroad. I had to change it so that I can survive alone. It is so hard to say goodbye to my old routine where I feel like princess with my hubby and say hello to my new routine now and made ne feel that I am a strong independent woman of course with the support emotionally if my husband.

After we had our grocery, we then went to Greenwich fastfood which is located to Gardenwalk. I ordered 1 order of their value meal which comprisies the chicken, spaghetti, rice, a slice of pizza and drinks for 199php. I just ordered one because we will just share and Matheena eat not that much. We then had our convo their, I asked her about her school and all. Unfortunately, we cant call my husband that time because LG Gardenwalk dont have signal to use our data nor wifi so we can connect.

It was around 7pm and I ask Matheena that we will nkw pack our things and go home. But she decline and ask me that she wanted to go to her daddy's place, and wanted to go to her tatay and nanay (my hubby's parents) as well as her cousins on my hubby's side because she wanted to inform them that her birthday is already fast approaching. And I feel shock of what she said, and I dont want to ruin that moment and just granted her request.

So, we went there and she really informed everyone about her birthday. She even invited her little cousins that they will go to the playground in LG Gardenwalk. And everyone laugh and amazed by Matheena's gesture. She is really excited on her birthday, and as a mom I am bit pressured but I already told her that we dont have the luxury of money to buy many food and invite everyone. She understands and just ask that she wanted to celebrate her birthday with her cousins at the playground. And her dad aggreed.

By the way her birthday will be tomorrow, October 30, and the plan of going to the playground was granted. Anyway, there were just 7 kids so maybe I can just manage the fee.
